I heard once that the hard plastic cases made for cds were hard on the centers of dvds. That is why I buy these, because they are made especially for dvds. I like that the opaque plastic is clear enough to read any writing on the dvd, not something that you can do with a solid black case. They are also the slim-line version which takes less shelf space than the normal sized dvd containers.

I was using the black CD/DVD Cases - then I found these. These slim cases make my Video Projects very professional looking.

I just incorporated these DVD cases into one of my training products, and they were easy to use. I developed a cover insert, added the CD, and mailed it in a padded kraft envelope. My customers report that the case came through the US Mail just fine, and the slim size saved postage costs.
